I was looking at Warm Pie, Happy Home and I saw a beauliful wreath in the kitchen there. I've always thought about a wreath with old cookie cutters and kitchen things on it but have never gotten around to making one. So I found a wreath in my wreath stash, removed everything but the red Poinsetta, added a few things from the kitchem and Christmas box and here it is "my Christmas kitchen wreath."

When I was in Hawaii last January I saw leis made from eyelash yarn. I bought some yarn when I got back home but never tried to make one. I thought of it the other day. I was going to "Gooogle it" to see if there were instructions. Well, I could never remember it when I was near a computer. Finally, yesterday I saw a friend (who was from Hawaii) and I remembered. I wrote it down then checked last night. You use a straw to make it!! So I stayed up past my bedtime and made one. I'm not very good at posting yet so the link came first. We captured a picture of a snowflake on his eyelash!

We had a great day and found beautiful trees, 6 of them to be exact. We drove to the National Forest to cut our Christmas tree with our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. The forecast was for rain but instead we were blessed with snow, nice dry snow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.......
